I am, in short, a cripple. Despite this, I am able to return the vast majority of their short shots with ease, to the extent that within a shot or two I have won the rally. Usually frustrated by this they try to go shorter (that is, lower) with the inevitable result. Tin.
Oh how I have tried to provide corrective advice. Hit the ball deeper to force me into the back corners, thus gaining control of the T, placing themselves in a position to take advantage of any loose shots I might play. But no, I am able to virtually set up camp in the front half of the court. These young tyros think me a genius. I do no more than accept their gifts. This they cannot see.
On rare occasions when I struggle to retrieve their short shots, I must collect my composure at the front of the court, allowing my opponent an easy winner. Instead, I watch with mixed emotions as the tin becomes my saviour. Why hadn’t they hit the ball to length for a simple winner?” I enquire.

65% already feel overwhelmed with too many marketing messages. And 61% feel the volume is out of control.
Beat consumer negativity and resistance by precisely targeting the “tar-ket” of your audience. (Remember a “tarket” is the single person you write your copy to rather than the mob of your entire “target market”. “Target” plus “market” equals “tarket”).
When you tap into the psyche of your tarket, you understand better how to approach your marketing.
So pull those boxes out of storage. Grab that big chunky ‘swipe’ file. Collect up your competitor’s promotions. Query your past customers. Get it all together. I mean EVERYTHING. Your business history, promotions, flyers and articles. Where did you file that business plan that you created when you first started? How has the message evolved since you wrote it? What is the lifestyle focus of your tarket? Surround yourself with thorough research materials.
The most powerful copy is focused with a clear idea first of the person who is already looking for your product or service. Without doing your research, your message meets resistance every time. Doing your due diligence is cheap insurance against consumer resistance.

This rule is used in business to show how you can increase your sales by ?only? focussing on a small amount of your clients (the 20% who generate 80% of your company?s turnover).
This rule that was found by examining the distribution of land by Italian proprietors. Apparently, 80% of the land was owned by only 20% of the owners. The 80-20-rule is applicable in many other areas, like the one describing the unequal distribution of wealth and poverty. The Wealthy countries in the world are contributing to solve this problem by reserving about 1% of the GNP to developing countries. Yet even more interesting is a trend that seems to have been triggered by one leading (and private) initiative.
There seems to be a philanthropy-trend where private initiatives are donating lump sums or even a percentage of their wealth to a foundation that is to redistribute the money to fight to poverty in the world.
Bill & Melinda Gates foundation was created in 2000 ? ?the power of philanthropy;?
to help reduce inequities in the United States and around the world.
(http://www.gatesfoundation.org/AboutUs/) More recently, Warren Buffet joined this initiative where he dedicates a percentage of his wealth to similar initiatives.
Now, six years later, philanthropy is big business as a British channel (4) starts a reality show where millionaires are to donate a sum of money (?50,000) to the poor.
The would-be philanthropists are forced to live undercover for ten days ?on the equivalent of state benefit or doing a menial job for the minimum wage in some of the most deprived areas of Britain.?
And …
At the end of the period, during which they are expected to get out and about in the community under the guise of appearing in a TV show that swaps the rural poor for the city poor, they decide which individuals deserve their money.

Drawing attention to your eyes. As for the lipsticks, get at least 3 lipsticks. 1 red lipstick, 1 darker brown lipstick and 1 lighter pink lipstick. With these, you can mix the colors to get countless different shades of flattering lip colors. Experiment with these to create your new look. A day look and a night look.
Next comes the wardrobe revamp. Rather than get lots of cheap items, invest in a few key items you would wear every day. Get a pair of jeans that makes you look your very best, a gorgeous jacket and a pair of great looking boots. These 3 items can define your new look.
Now get a few tops you can wear each day.

This is the age when people start trying to really enjoy life and its pleasures. So the main concern is good food and service. When targeting this market, it is good to present your restaurant with elegance and sophistication. It would be wise to invest more on ambience and class.
The middle aged group is composed of people who are around 40 to 50 years old. This are very productive years as most executives and prominent career persons fall in this market. Money is rather plentiful and thus spent with more generosity. In this age, people are quite fond of trendy and high-end, fine dining restaurants. Many people in this market already have grandchildren and thus this is also good for family-friendly eating places which that are more formal than those frequented by the senior market.
The young adult market consists of people in their mid twenties to just before reaching middle age. This is an age of great effort for established families. The main concern here is enjoying children and keeping a good relationship with them.
