Whole House Water Filters – How Do You Make Sure It’s the Right One? by Lauren Leddy
in Health / Wellness (submitted 2010-07-29)

Due to the state of our drinking water, interest in whole house water filters is way up, and taking an interest in ensuring clean water for your family is great so long as the filter you buy is the right one for the job.

Some unscrupulous companies out there are willing to sell you products that don’t meet your home water purification needs. Let’s take a look at what they are trying to sell you.

The goal of any countertop, under counter, or whole house filter is to aid in the removal of the literally tens of thousands of harmful contaminants that are present in our groundwater and reservoir system. The vast majority of these pollutants are chemical, but there also are toxic metals present. Further, you need to be aware of microscopic organisms that have survived the chlorine disinfection process.

Your whole house water filter or point of use units need to feature the filters necessary for the removal of as many toxic and carcinogenic contaminants as possible. You have to be careful about what you buy, because many of the filtering systems being offered do pathetically little when it comes to removing contaminants from your water. You don’t want to make the expensive mistake of buying one of these.

What you need to watch out for are those companies that are trying to push what is called a reverse osmosis filter system as a home purification system. This is the sort of system that is used by certain industries such as car washes and photography labs, because the water they use cannot contain any particulates that would ruin the finish of their products. Demineralization is what this system is designed for.

Reverse osmosis whole house water filters will remove the mineral content of your water, but will do little else for you other than waste water and electricity

There are many different ebook cover designs available ? for free ? on the Internet, and you can of course use those. However, it would probably be in your best interest to create your own, or have one created for you.

There are many different types of software available today that can help you create your own unique ebook cover. This software is usually very inexpensive, and very useful. This software is extremely easy to learn and use and you should not have any problems with it. But the ?outside? look of the package isn?t exactly what will set you apart from your competition. There is, in fact, a great deal more that you can do with the inside of the package.

There are several things that you can add to your Resell Rights products package that have nothing to do with your license, or changing the product itself in anyway.

It may cause palpitations and increase blood sugar after a meal. It has virtually no side effects, except for mild diarrhea and temporary sleep perturbations.

Eleutherococcus can be taken as an herbal tea, dried root extract, tincture, or water extract. I usually take the tincture because it is more convenient, easier to find and usually contains stronger concentrations of active ingredients. Dosage can vary from 10 ml to 20 ml per day in a glass of water. It is also recommended to stop taking Eleutherococcus for one week every six weeks.

You can find more information about Eleutherococcus and other herbal treatments for herpes at my website Best Herpes Treatments
Eleutherococcus must be taken for several days to show effects. Nathuropaths usually say 21 days, but I usually feel an improvement after 10 days.

One of the easiest,

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

One of the easiest, however, is to simply find new applications for existing ideas, products, services and systems.

This technique can be used to come up with new ideas in any area of life. Take an existing product, like a raincoat, for example. It takes just a minute or two to come up with new applications. How about a line of raincoats for dogs and cats? Raincoats for cattle? Maybe they lose valuable weight burning calories to stay warm during cold rains.

Evaluating the new ideas you come up with is another process. It is best left for later, if you don’t want to stifle your creativity. You only need one or two good ideas to make the effort worthwhile, and having a hundred ideas to choose from makes finding a few good ones more likely.

I saw an ad for a company that uses a dog to find mold in your house. Dogs can sniff out almost anything, and it reminded me of the news story from a while back, about a dog that could detect if you had cancer.

iMedicor Launches Access Pharmaceuticals’ MuGard Product

0 Comments | Wireless News, Jul 30, 2010

iMedicor announced its launch of Access Pharmaceuticals’ MuGard product through its pharma online marketing portal, ClearLobby, and its direct sales channel, Direct Medical Solutions.

According to officials, the initial phase of the marketing program includes a targeted MuGard sampling program to select iMedicor users and the DMS’ physician network. As previously announced, iMedicor has been selected by Access Pharmaceuticals, to support the North American commercial launch efforts of its lead product, MuGard – an FDA-approved, ready-to-use mucoadhesive oral wound rinse for the management of oral mucositis and stomatitis, a side effect of radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy.

MuGard is now being introduced to Centers of Excellence, Key Opinion Leaders, cancer research centers and selected physicians in the United States. The initial release of MuGard samples is part of a joint project that includes participation from iMedicor’s user base and DMS, a network of direct field representatives with relationships to physicians and their practices. The full national launch is expected during the third quarter using iMedicor’s Physician Communication System (PCS), and iMedicor’s strategic partnership with Direct Medical Solutions (DMS) and other strategic partners.

“After many months of planning, we look forward to assisting Access Pharma with its introduction of MuGard on a national level,” said Fred Zolla, CEO of iMedicor. He continued, “MuGard represents a potential blockbuster product that could significantly improve the quality of life for patients undergoing certain cancer treatments. iMedicor’s ability to deliver essential information from a trusted source to specific physician audiences will significantly increase Access Pharma’s marketing ROI.”

“Our collective efforts have led to the positive acceptance of the first phase sampling program throughout the DMS network,” commented Marian Bartosiewicz, CEO of DMS. She continued, “We are pleased to be part of the introduction of a product like MuGard that can offer measurable relief to patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.”

“Teaming up with iMedicor and DMS is an important strategic step in launching MuGard in North America as it provides us the ability to introduce MuGard more rapidly and cost-effectively than we would expect through traditional distribution channels to doctors,” said Jeffrey Davis, CEO of Access Pharmaceuticals, Inc

None of us

Friday, July 30th, 2010

None of us can keep up a pace of 200 miles per hour day after day, month after month, year after year. The key is to keep your attitude positive, your focus on what is working, and your activity levels high regardless of the results.

In my best selling book, Soft Sell, I share the idea that there are a variety of sales slumps. In this short tip, I will only discuss four. They are:

1. An attitude slump.

2. A prospecting slump.

3. A presentation slump.

4. A closing slump.

An attitude slump is where you find it difficult to maintain your confidence, poise, commitment, dedication, persistence and motivation. This can be due to a number of causes. Some of them are: a) you have lost belief in your organization?s products or services. b) you are not reaching your goals or objectives according to your schedule c) You are under a great deal of stress due to deadlines, expectations or loss of control of the sales process, and d) you have other issues in your life that are impacting your attitudes.

A prospecting slump is where you lack adequate qualified leads and are spending a great deal of time calling on poor prospects.

The average citizen speaks of his mechanic

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

The average citizen speaks of his mechanic in terms usually reserved for politicians and perverts. This response is both unfair and inaccurate. It is definitely emotional.

There is a reason for this. Joe Citizen’s reaction to his mechanic is not simply bad judgment or perversity. People react to events in direct proportion to their affect on survival. How important is a car to your survival? In Los Angeles, it is as important as food. How well the car works absolutely affects quality of life. There’s a lot of emotion associated with survival.

These attitudes are not entirely unwarranted. Remember how you felt when you bought your first new car? There was excitement, the pleasure of having done an adult thing, made and saved enough money to make one of the largest purchases an American can make. And the satisfaction of owning a new car: “New”! This is very special indeed.

As car owners, we have no way of knowing that the technician working on our car was never trained on the vehicle’s electronic system.

However, even if

However, even if you are not dancing five hours a day in hopes of becoming a professional ballerina or ballroom medal winner, the right equipment will optimize your enjoyment by keeping you comfortable and safe.

The style of clothing you wear will depend upon the type of dance and the venue. In choosing clothing, you should give consideration to your own comfort and safety as well as that of your partner. Lightweight cotton, such as Egyptian cotton or cotton lawn, is one of the coolest fabrics. This makes a good choice for shirts and tops. T-shirts are usually heavyweight cotton and will get extremely hot after a few minutes of dancing. They also hold the moisture close to your body leading to a hot, sticky uncomfortable mess.

An alternative to the t-shirt if you want to go casual is workout wear that wicks moisture away from the body.
